2. Select the Right Type of System

There are 3 main types:

  • On-Grid: Connects to the government grid, best for homes with stable electricity.
  • Off-Grid: Ideal for remote areas with no power access; works with batteries.
  • Hybrid: Combines on-grid + batteries; useful for backup during power cuts.

 3. Check Your Roof Space and Direction

Ensure your roof gets adequate sunlight, especially from south or west direction. Also check:

  • Shade-free area
  • Slope and structure
  • Available square footage
